Randy Jara Named Chief Executive Officer; John Solonynko to Serve as President and Chief Operating Officer
PyroComm Life Safety Systems has announced a new executive leadership structure designed to support the company’s continued growth, strengthen its operational performance and build upon its longstanding commitment to customers, employees and the life safety industry.
Effective immediately, Randy Jara will serve as Chief Executive Officer. John Solonynko will continue in his role as President while also assuming the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer.
Under the new structure, Jara will lead PyroComm’s vision, business strategy and long-term direction. He will also help steward the relationships and investments that will shape the company’s future.
As President and COO, Solonynko will oversee PyroComm’s day-to-day business operations, including service delivery, execution, organizational performance and financial results. His role will remain closely focused on ensuring that customers continue to receive the dependable performance and support they have come to expect from PyroComm.
The CEO and President/COO positions have been intentionally designed as complementary leadership roles. Jara and Solonynko will work closely together and jointly manage PyroComm’s ownership and board relationships, while maintaining distinct areas of responsibility.
“This is a thoughtful leadership structure that positions PyroComm for its next stage of growth,” said Michael Robinson. “John’s operational leadership is second to none, and Randy’s strategic perspective will help us build upon the strong foundation we have created together. They have my complete confidence and support.”
Robinson will transition away from PyroComm’s day-to-day leadership to focus full-time on Fready, a newly formed company developing and implementing the Connected Intelligence platform. He will remain available to PyroComm’s leadership team to help support a smooth transition.
“PyroComm has earned its reputation through the quality of its people, the strength of its customer relationships and its unwavering commitment to life safety,” said Jara. “My priority is to protect that foundation while identifying new opportunities to grow, innovate and deliver even greater value to the customers and communities we serve.”
Solonynko added, “Our customers depend on us to perform at a high level every day. I am honored to take on this expanded responsibility and look forward to working with Randy and the entire PyroComm team to strengthen our operations, support our employees and continue delivering the service our customers count on.”
The leadership transition will not change PyroComm’s core mission or its approach to doing business. The company remains committed to protecting lives and property, providing reliable service, doing right by its customers and investing in the people who make that work possible.
“This transition is about strengthening our commitment—not changing it,” Robinson said. “PyroComm has an experienced leadership team, a talented group of employees and a clear path forward. I am as excited about what Randy and John will accomplish together as I am for our continued partnership developing and implementing the technologies being developed at Fready.”
PyroComm congratulates Randy Jara and John Solonynko on their new and expanded leadership roles.
